ALLEN HALL

Allen is a 2001 Crane High School graduate. He was an original member of the student produced program “News Review“ on Crane ISD’S cable station CISD-TV. Allen was in the now defunct Golden Crane Chorale and short lived Purple Eclipse Show Choir. Allen obtained his A.A. from Midland College in 2003, where he was in the MC Chap Singers. He then went to the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa, earning B.A. in Communications in 2005, while interning at KOCV 91.3 and KWEL AM 1070, and studying under Texas radio historian Tumbleweed Smith. Since 2001, he has volunteered with Midland Community Theatre and the Midland Summer MuMmers. Allen has been the voice of Crane Baseball since high school and continues today. He began broadcasting Crane sports in 2008 on www.lonesarsportsradio.com for 4 years. When Crane coverage was dropped, Allen picked it up, added daily programming, and El Ave Radio hit the web in August 2012.

HILARY EVITT ALLEN

Hilary Allen is a west Texas native, now living and working in the DFW metroplex. She obtained a degree in broadcast journalism from Abilene Christian University while working on-air at KACU 89.7 and KEAN 105.1. Hilary also served as morning anchor/producer at KTAB in Abilene, then at KMID Big 2 in Midland. She spent three years hosting afternoon drive on Midland/Odessa’s KNFM 92.3, where she also provided contract work for Cumulus radio stations in Grand Junction, Colorado, Montgomery, Alabama and Columbus/Starkville/West Point, Mississippi. She has been married to husband Kris since 2011 and is a dedicated servant to four dogs. You can listen to Hilary every weeknight from 7:00-Midnight on Kicks 99.1 in Midland/Odessa Tx.
